OBITUARY Larry Eldridge Adderholt February 12, 1942 – July 13, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Larry Eldridge Adderholt, 76, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away at home on Friday, July 13, 2018, surrounded by family after his battle with cancer. He was born and raised in the part of town known as East Tupelo, MS to the late Eulis and Rebecca Adderholt. He worked his whole life for his wife and children by managing stores for the Sherwin Williams Company from which he retired with 42 years of service.

He was a master at mixing paint colors and textures long before computers came around. He loved and appreciated his co-workers and customers, many of whom became lifelong friends. In his youth, he was a talented basketball player and a very proud Eagle Scout.

Through the years in the various cities in which he lived, he participated in community charitable organizations and delighted in playing Santa for the children’s orphanage and hospital. He also loved building sets and doing shows in Community Theater. He is predeceased in death by his parents; his sweet sister-in-law Joy Buckner; and beloved brother-in-law Dexter McGregor; and his dear son Randy Adderholt who passed July 2, 2016.

He leaves behind his wife of 56 years Sarah McGregor Adderholt; 3 remaining children Beth Coy (Paul), John Adderholt (Andi), Tami Pultz (Brett); 8 grandchildren, Riley Murray, Hannah, Harry, Kitty Mae Adderholt, Gabe and Daniel Adderholt, Matthew and Joseph Pultz. He also leaves former daughter-in-law Jayme Adderholt and former son-in-law Walker Murray. His brother, David Adderholt (Millie) of Tennessee, Dennis Buckner; and sister Rhonda Holmes (Ricky) both of Mississippi.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm Monday with funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at Gross Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Drew Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery. He also leaves former daughter-in-law Jayme Adderholt and former son-in-law Walker Murray. His brother, David Adderholt (Millie) of Tennessee, Dennis Buckner; and sister Rhonda Holmes (Ricky) both of Mississippi.
