He was born in Elba, AL on April 16, 1951 to Elmer Golden and Juanita Crawford Golden. Larry lived life to the fullest whether it was cheering on the Tide, fishing, playing the guitar, working in his garden, or just watching westerns.

He was known for always preferring hugs over handshakes. He didn’t meet strangers, just new best friends. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by father, Elmer Golden; mother, Juanita Crawford Golden; brothers, Avery Lamar Golden and Oscar Lee Golden. He is survived sons, Tyler Golden of New Jersey and Casey Golden and Kennedy of Florala, sister, Ann Haney and husband Ronnie of Florala, brothers, James Golden and spouse James T Holley of Crestview, Dennis Golden and wife Rhea of Florala and William Golden of Laurel Hill, grandchildren, Blake Golden and Sophia Golden. He relished being their “Pa Pa”.

He is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Larry Golden will be 2PM Friday March 1, 2019 from Evans Funeral Home with John Lovelady officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
