Center in Mayo, FL following an extended illness. Mr. Hicks was born in Live Oak, July 21, 1956 to Marvin Hampton and Alene Harrell Hicks.

The lifelong Suwannee County native graduated from Suwannee High School in 1974, worked for Suwannee Farms for 21 years and for Shenendoah Dairy for 4 years as a Field Manager. Larry is survived by his mother, Alene Harrell Hicks of Live Oak; daughter, Michele & Bryan Johnson of Live Oak; four sons, Marvin Larry Hicks of Mayo, Hampton & Lisa Hicks of Live Oak, Heath Hicks of Live Oak and Josh & Kendal Hannah of Lake City; two sisters, Sandra Sweat-McCarl & Bob of Live Oak and Patsy & Ronnie Ward of Live Oak. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren with one on the way in January 2019.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Dees officiating.

Visitation will be held Sunday , Dec. 30, 2018 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Daniels Funeral Home in Live Oak. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice) 6037 West US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055 Daniels Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. of Live Oak and Branford, FL is in charge of all arrangements.
