OBITUARY Larry Joe Barnard September 21, 1944 – February 3, 2019 Larry Joe Barnard, 74, of McGregor, Texas passed away on February 3, 2019. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas. The visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2019 at the funeral home.

Larry was born on September 21, 1944, in Gatesville, Texas, to Roy Barnard and Dovie Warren Barnard. He married Betsy Louise King on June 8, 1973 and they moved to McGregor in 1980. Larry worked for Graves Body Works, in McGregor, from 1980 until 2000.

He loved working on cars and he loved playing with his grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy Barnard; daughter, Barbara Barnard Thomas; brother, Weldon Barnard; sisters, Mildred Barnard Lehrmann, and Doris Barnard Woodley. Survivors include daughter, Patricia Kay Wilson; sons, Larry Ray Barnard and wife, Amber, Terry Joe Barnard, eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren; sisters, Edith Barnard Paul, Neta Barnard; brothers Mike Barnard, and Paul Barnard.
