Larry Joe Bloom passed away unexpectedly June 4, 2018 at the age of 79 at his home in Prescott, AZ. Larry was born in Mishawaka, Indiana. In 1956 Larry joined the Army and was a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne.

His MOS was Parachute Rigger while stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. After leaving the military Larry attended the School of Cosmetology. He was 1st employed at Goldwater’s in Scottsdale, AZ.

He eventually owned his own salon in downtown Phoenix. That’s where he met the love of his life, Beverly. They married in 1964 in Winterhaven, CA.

They moved their family to Grand Junction, CO in 1972 where he became a Realtor which is a profession he truly loved. Larry missed the desert heat & returned to the Phoenix area in 1982. Upon Beverly’s retirement they moved to Prescott, AZ in 1999 where he remained until his passing.

Larry had a love for water skiing, horses, gardening, riding motorcycles with friends, but most of all he loved his family. He will be deeply missed by all. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Beverly J. Bloom and son Jerry M. Bisbee.

He is survived by daughter Yvonne J. Roberts (Frank), son Stanley D. Bloom (Cindy), daughter Lynn S. Baughman (Kent) and daughter Stacey D. Bowers (Dan). 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A memorial service for Larry will be held on June 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Heights Church 2121 Larry Caldwell Dr. Prescott, AZ.
