Larry Jordan Bushong, 76, of Morganton, NC died Friday, May 24, 2019. Born in Monroe County, KY on February 20, 1943, he was the son of the late Ernest Bushong and Julia (Smith) Bushong. Larry is survived by his wife, Mildred Joyce Thomas Bushong; daughter, Beth Hicks (Harvey) of Morganton; sons, Mark Williams (Amy) of Kentucky and Ronnie Williams (Anna) of Texas; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Jordan Bushong. The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 27, 2019 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Mt. Hermon, KY .

Following the service, the family will greet friends at the H.A.M Henderson Masonic Lodge for a light lunch. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690. Local arrangements will be under the direction of the Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
