Obituary for Larry L. Houston Larry L. Houston, 74, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, April 26, 2018, at home with family. He was born April 17, 1944 in Somerset, a son of the late Grinnell and Iona (Cole) Houston and was also preceded in death by a daughter Larissa L. Houston and a brother Bob Houston. Larry was a retired welder for LA Fab of Lawrenceville and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam conflict.

He was a member of Christian Life Church, Trafford. Larry loved to sing and would sing any gospel tune you could mention and also loved spending time with his family. Surviving are his children Brian L. (Deborah) Houston of Clarksville, TN and Terra L. (Erik) Scharritter of North Huntingdon; his grandchildren Navy Blue and Sky Blue Scharritter, Ryan (Maddie) Houston and Sarah (Adam) Cheek; five great grandchildren; brothers Garry Houston and Stanley Houston both of Trafford; also nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. For online condolences please visit snyderfuneralservices.com.
