OBITUARY Larry Lucas Billeter November 8, 1940 – October 9, 2018 Larry Lucas Billeter, born November 8, 1940, in Salt Lake City, peacefully passed away October 9, 2018 in Salt Lake City. He was one month shy of his 78th birthday. Larry owned and operated Larry Billeter Ceramic Tile, and was a General contractor for 50 years.

He was a Master Tile Setter. He had a drive to be successful and a strong work ethic. He took great pride in the work he had done in homes and businesses around the Valley, and would often point these places out on drives, recalling the types and styles that where in certain places.

Many of these projects were considered beautiful pieces of art and will exist for years to come. Larry was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He took great pride and joy in many successful hunts.

He enjoyed traveling, cruises, fishing, long dune buggy rides, time at his cabin, the beauty of the outdoors, and his family. Larry is survived by his wife of 30 years, Drew Billeter, five children from a previous marriage, Danny (Karen) Billeter of West Jordan, Lonnie (Lynette) Billeter of Sandy, Nancy (Robert) Rasmussen of Twin Falls, Wendy (Gary) Hoopes of Springville, Becky (Justin) Johnson of Payson, and two daughters from Drew’s previous marriage, Angie (Victor) of West Valley, and Machelle (Mike) of Kaysville. 20 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Fermetta Billeter, Father, Lucas Billeter, and Sister, Sharon Billeter. There will be a visitation for Larry on Monday, October 15, 2018, 11:00am – 1:00pm at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. Salt Lake City, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity close to you heart.
