Larry Rothmeyer September 10, 1938 – March 08, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Larry Rothmeyer, age 80, of Festina, IA, died on Friday, March 8, 2019 at his home near Festina, IA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, 2351 County Road B32, Festina, IA, with Rev. Robert Gross presiding.

Burial will be in Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Festina Parish Center in Festina, IA and also after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday morning at the Church. There will be a scripture service at 3:30 p.m. at the Parish Center before the visitation and a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. Larry is survived by his wife Sandy of Festina, IA.

Children: Scott (Trudie) Rothmeyer, Denver, IA; Pat Rothmeyer, Festina, IA; Mary (Matt) O’Kones, West Union, IA and Mark Rothmeyer, Denver, IA. Grandchildren: Keaton and Kenna Rothmeyer; Jordan, Dillon and Brandon O’Kones; Aaliyah, Avery and Ainsley Rothmeyer. Brothers: Linus Rothmeyer, Calmar, IA and Lester (Elizabeth) Rothmeyer, Commerce City, CO.

Sisters: Ruth Huber, Boscobel, WI and Rosetta (Gerald) Schmitt, St. Lucas, IA. Sisters-in-law: Sally (Milton) Kipp, Mt. Pleasant, IA and Jean Zweibahmer, Ossian, IA.

Brother-in-law: Kenny Zweibahmer, Ft. Atkinson, IA along with many nieces and nephews.
