Wauseon: Larry W. Ackerman, age 63, of Wauseon, passed away on October 1, 2018, at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice. Larry was born in Lucas County, Ohio on February 2, 1955, the son of Robert J. and Edna Mae (Brown) Ackerman. Larry loved country music and old rock and roll.

He enjoyed playing his guitar and rocking in his chair. Surviving are two brothers, Kenny Ackerman of Fayette and Duane Ackerman of Liberty Center. He was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, Fred “Butch” Ackerman and Robert Ackerman, Jr.; and three sisters, Betty Tipping, Wilma Belcher, and Peggy Siler.

Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in the Keen Cemetery. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
