OBITUARY Larry Wayne Rixman January 10, 1950 – July 14, 2018 Larry Wayne Rixman, 68 passed away July 14, 2018. Larry was active in Scottish Rite of Louisville, Derby City Mustang Club and Society of Broadcast Engineers. He was also secretary of the Board for ChemCo-FCU, a member of AOPA and Jeffersontown Baptist Church.

His wife Susan Kohara Rixman and father Carl Rixman preceded him in death. Larry is survived by his children Daryl Rixman (Jackie), Karan Sparks and J. D. Sparks (Yuko), mother Dora Rixman, grandchildren Rosie, Bella, Manabu and Kenta Sparks and siblings Jody Ziegler (Joe), Steven Rixman (Monica) and Terry Rixman (Katie). His companion Patti Dick also survives him.

A memorial service to honor the life of Larry will be held at 12pm Saturday August 11, 2018 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville Kentucky with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 9am until the start of the funeral. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
