SPICER, LaShearal L., born January 20, 1970 in Dayton, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Sherry graduated from Dunbar High School in 1988. She was a professional hair stylist for three decades owning Ladies and Gentlemen Salon for several years.

She made the best fried chicken and used her cooking talents in service to students at Dayton Job Corps and Marion Tate Juvenile Detention Center. Sherry was known for being every ones momma. Caregiver to many, she loved children.

She was the most boisterous person–on both sides of the family, and said what she wanted to say no matter how you received it. Preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Reid; first love, Todd Ellicott; fiancé, Kevin Anderson; special friend, Sheree Lovelace. Left to cherish her memory: daughter, Tierra Ellicott; mother, Batiste Spicer; sisters, Z’Dia, Kristin and Brittany Reid; brothers, LaTerral (Debra) and Devin (Aneka) Spicer, Andre (Mindy) Garrison; special son, Taurean Wilson; special granddaughter, Ty’ah Wilson; Godson, Nilan Lovelace; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Memorial service 1 pm Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Calling hour 12-1 pm at which time family will receive.
