Laura “Elizabeth” Anderson (Boone) passed away October 30, 2018 in Denver, CO. She was 81. Elizabeth was born on March 23, 1937 in Oklahoma City, OK to Frederick Independence Boone and Luta Jane (Sturgeon) Boone.

She graduated from Central State College in Edmond, OK with a degree in Elementary Education. Elizabeth taught school in Gallup, NM and taught Navajo Indians in Flagstaff AZ. When she met her future husband, Stuart Anderson, she was teaching third grade and music classes at Belleview Christian School in Westminster.

She married Stuart Anderson in June 17, 1980. After Stuart retired they ran a day care from their home. Elizabeth played the piano and organ and was active in prayer groups and the NotWhole at Englewood Bible Church.

Elizabeth would also fill in playing piano with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. She is survived by a Stepdaughter, Becky Sumner (Brian) from Maine. Stepsons, Albert Anderson, Mark Anderson (Jeanette) from Colorado and Paul Anderson (Susan) from Utah; Adopted daughter Jackie Anderson from Washington State, fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stuart; sister, Margaret Genevieve Harmer and brothers Alfred Boone and Benjamin Boone Elizabeth will be buried in a private ceremony on November 5, 2018. In lieu of flowers, please donate the Englewood Bible Church.
