Laura Kovalcik Scheuermann of Madisonville, Louisiana September 27, 1969 – May 8, 2019 Laura Kovalcik Scheuermann, age 49 of Madisonville, LA, entered her heavenly reward with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA on September 27, 1969. Beloved daughter of John and Ruth Kovalcik, precious sister of Kelly Kovalcik Morse (Joe Morse) and devoted aunt to Jesse, Benjamin and Katherine Strahan.

Laura was much loved by her aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. She was loving, generous and fiercely loyal to those she cared for. She especially had a compassionate heart for abused animals, wounded veterans and those who were downcast.

Laura worked many years in pharmaceutical sales and received numerous regional and national awards. She leaves behind her Miniature Bull Terrier and best companion, Max, whom she adored. Laura will be forever missed and always loved.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1615 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, LA 70458. Family and friends are welcome to the visitation from 9:30-10:30 am with the funeral service beginning at 10:30 am. A private Interment will be held in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
