She was born on January 10, 1973 in Harlingen, TX, daughter of Manuel Sosa, Jr. and Hortencia V. Sosa. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Sylvia Gonzalez and Lydia Rodriguez.

Laura is survived by her sisters, Hortencia V. Reyes, and Maria Elena S. Garza. Visitation will be held at Duddlesten Funeral Home on Wednesday and Thursday, June 6 & 7, 2018. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 693 N. 3rd, Raymondville, Texas on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m Interment will follow in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery, Raymondville, Texas.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo Ave. Raymondville, Texas. .
