Laura “Penny” Jones Spartanburg, SC: Laura “Penny” Jones, 63, passed away Sunday December 9, 2018. She was the daughter of the late John E. Petty and Helen Petty O’Shields. She was a member of Stone Station Baptist Church, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters Leah Steadman and husband Thomas of Spartanburg, and Candice Storms and husband Jeff of Fuquay Varina, NC; six grandchildren Breanna Wooten and husband Jacob of Spartanburg, Kyle Steadman and wife Jessica of Spartanburg, Kody Steadman, and Tristan Steadman of Spartanburg, Dixie Mae Blanchard and Ethan Storms of Fuquay Varina, NC; two great grandchildren Kylie Steadman and Jacob Michael Wooten of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by a brother John “Ric” Petty. The family will receive friends 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Thursday December 13, 2018 at Bobo Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service will follow with Rev. Rob Gouge officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
