Obituary for Laura Truitt Laura Truitt, 101, of Greensboro, passed away on December 2, 2018. She was born on August 13, 1917 in Delaware to the late Wilbert McKnatt and Linda Seamans McKnatt. She is a graduate of the Greensboro High School Class of 1935.

She was employed as a Line Worker at General Foods for 19 1/2 years until her retirement in 1984. She married Alfred Paris Truitt who preceded her in death on March 8, 1986. Together they had a daughter Linda R. Cannon of Bridgeville.

In addition to her daughter she is survived by two grandchildren John Thomas Cannon and Laurie Kay Countryman. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Greensboro Cemetery. To share memories and condolences please visit www.
