OBITUARY Laurel “Charlie” Sturdivant October 18, 1959 – December 13, 2018 Laurel “Charlie” Sturdivant, age 59, of North Little Rock, passed away December 13, 2018. She was born October 18, 1959, in Little Rock, to James and Helen Hitchens. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 35 years, James Darrell Sturdivant, and by a sister, Stacy Thornton.

Charlie served 25 years in the Little Rock Police Department and 5 years on the SWAT team. She is survived by a sister, Lee O’Neal and husband Bart; two step-daughters: Tina Dunn and Chrystal Butler; and seven grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, December 21, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation at 1:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock.
