A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Victory Park Baptist Church. Laurie was born on September 14, 1973 in McAlester to Charles Everett and Letha (Rhew) Everett.

She grew up here and graduated from high school, then attended college, earning a Master’s Degree in accounting. She worked for a number of years in Norman as supervisor of accounting for a mining company. Laurie is survived by a daughter, Devan Howard, and a son, Josh Byrd and Holly Travis; grandchildren, Andria McKendrick and Sagen Osterhout; her mother, Letha Everett; her father and step-mother, Charles and April Everett; a sister and brother-in-law, April and Brad Church; maternal grandmother, Della Rhew; 2 nephews, Garrett and Jacob Church; cousin, Kristi Ogden and husband Buddy; special friends, Amy and Kevin Cochrane; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, D. T. Rhew and paternal grandparents, Robert Everett and Bertha Holbrook; and an aunt, Glenda Hargrove.
