Laurie Painter McCarty Greenville, SC Laurie Painter McCarty, 56, of 415 N. Main St., passed away at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Gilford Neal and Joyce Meeks Painter. She was a nursing aid and of Baptist faith.

Surviving are: daughter, Summer Navy (Chris) of Augusta, GA; sisters, Nancy Bates, Holly Painter and Karen Morrison; grandchildren, Caroline Bell Locke, Alyssa Elaine Navy and James Neal Painter. She was preceded in death by her son, James Bruce Painter. The family will be at their respective homes.
