Lavern Shaffer,77, of Ursa passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 in his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Mendon with Father Jeff Stone officiating. Interment will follow in New Providence Cemetery near Ursa with Military services to follow.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 2, 2018 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon. Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Unity F.F.A or the Blessing Foundation. You are invited to share memories of LaVern and leave condolences at www.
