Obituary for LaVerne A. Krueger LaVerne A. Krueger (nee Mallow) age 89, of Oconomowoc, passed away on December 9, 2018. LaVerne was born April 1, 1929 in Ashippun, daughter of Paul and Alice Mallow. LaVerne married Kenneth Krueger on September 29, 1951 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ashippun.

She was a homemaker, and later was employed at the office of Dr. John Hornberger, podiatrist, for many years. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. Survivors include her children Sandra (John) Fisher of Madison and Debra Gardner (Dave Winter) of Janesville; her grandchildren Rachel Gardner and Sarah Gardner (Dylan Mitchell), and Trevor Fisher; plus nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth, and her brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Joan Mallow. Services for LaVerne will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home (1165 E Summit Ave, Oconomowoc). A visitation for family and friends will occur from 9:00am until 11:00am, with a service to follow at 11:00am.

Burial will take place following the service at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. Memorial donations in honor of LaVerne may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of LaVerne A. Krueger please visit our Sympathy Store.
