Sanford (nee Beening), age 80; loving wife of the late James R.; cherished mother of Theresa (Patrick) Reppen, Catherine (Ross) Sikyta, James, Jr. (Susan) Sanford and Mary (Richard) Okragley; devoted daughter of the late Leroy and Lillian Beening; caring grandmother of Shannon, Rebecca, Connor and Matthew Reppen, Ashley (Jonathan) Strupek, Melanie and Joseph Sikyta and Savannah Okragly; great-grandmother of Carter Strupek; dear sister of the late Leroy( late Dorothy) Beening; fond aunt of Ann Marie, John, Michael, David and Elizabeth. LaVerne taught at River Trails Middle School, was involved with St. Emily Catholic Church RCIA, Eucharistic Minister and acted as Deacon Couple along with her late husband. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer’s Association will be appreciated.
