LaVerne Tharp, 83, of Bastrop, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday morning, May 14, 2019. Family and friends will gather at the Trinity Baptist Church of Bryan on Monday, May 20th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Trinity Baptist Church, on Tuesday, May 21st at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Greg Long Presiding.

Interment will follow at the Bryan City Cemetery. All are invited for fellowship and repast at the Foxhole VFW.
