On Thursday July 12, 2018 age 87 of Wilmerding. Beloved husband of 63 years to Marian (Andelmo) Alexander. Loving father of Cindy (Don) Connors, Bonnie (Joe) Crickey, Larn (Beth Ann) Alexander and Lou (Melyssa) Alexander.

Special grand pap to 11 and great grand pap to 14. Brother of Mary Barno and Ann Cencia. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Alexander served his country in the US Army. He played and managed Senior softball teams, raised beagle dogs, enjoyed gardening and hunting, a member of the former Lyons Club of Wilmerding. More importantly Mr. Alexander was a gentle soul who loved his beautiful family.

Friends welcome in Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. 201 Marguerite Ave Wilmerding 412-824-4332 on Monday from 2:00 until 8:00 Pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at 10:00 Am at St. Jude the Apostle Church. Internment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville Pa.
