Lawrence Wallace Sr , June 24, 1960 — April 23, 2019

Lawrence Wallace Sr., was born June 24,1960, to Lorenzo Sr. and Gertie Wallace in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the fifth of six children. Lawrence was baptized and professed his life to Christ at an early age.

He was educated in Cleveland Public Schools where he attended East High School. He was a well known student who played in the band and ran track. After high school, he entered the workforce and earned his certification from the Great Lakes Institute of Technology.

As an adult, Lawrence was a master Mason. Lawrence was gainfully employed throughout his life and served as a plumber with the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority for over 20 years. Between 1982 and 1990, Lawrence welcomed three children: Lauren, Lawrence Jr., and Leah.

He was an active and attentive father who loved to spend time with his children. Lawrence was a master hand dancer, who loved to bowl and spend time with family and friends. As the life of the party, he kept those around him laughing.

People gravitated to his positive spirit. Lawrence had a wonderful fashion sense with an extensive shoe collection. Lawrence met Ralonda Stevenson and on July 3, 2016, they entered into holy matrimony.

On April 23, 2019, God called and Lawrence answered. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Ralonda; mother Gertie; Preceded in death his father (Lorenzo Sr.), children Lauren (Cedric), Lawrence Jr., and Leah; five siblings Lucy, James, Lorenzo Jr. (Brenda), Shelia and Patrice; his best friend Bryan Wynn; grandchildren Lorenzo, Shyla, Shamair, Laraya, Sarah, Serenity, Ryleigh, Morgan, and Jaiden, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and co-workers.
