Leah’s Obituary Leah McFarland, 55 of Rushville, passed away May 11, 2019. She was a loving caring mother, mother in-law, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. Leah loved all aspecs of life.

She would always do her best to make sure everyone around her was in good spirits and was doing ok. Those who was close to her knows that once you met her you never forgot her nor would she forget you. She had her struggles and battles with life but no matter what at the end of the day she would always take a deep breath let it out and thank god for all of her blessings.

She loved everyone in her life more so than she did hers at times and not many people are built that way anymore. It didnt matter how long or well she knew someone if they were happy she was happy and she would celebrate with them, but if they were down then she would tear up and say aww sweetie come here god bless you. She wore her heart on her sleeve and you would know from the moment you met her that is who she is and she was proud of it.

She worked very hard to raise her two children and as with most parents she always thought she should have done more when she did plenty and well with what she had and made sure no one went without. She enjoyed listening to music of any kind but elvis, bon jovi, def lepord were among her favorites to name a few. She enjoyed going to the river and walking along the shore mainly anything outside she was all about it.

More than anything she loved her grandchildren with all her being. The family will conduct a gathering of family and friends and a Celebration of Life Service from 2 – 7 PM May 18, 2019 at the Glenwood Community Center with Don Key officiating. So lets celebrate her life on this day as she should be because the last thing she would want is to be the reason to upset everyone she loved.
