LeAnne Ray 47, departed this life on December 10, 2018. Services are private. She was born May 10, 1971 in Great Lakes, Illinois, to Charles Durand Ray and Beverly Ann (Norton) Ray.

LeAnne was the last member of a loving family that included her beautiful wife of twenty-one years, Dr. Mary Beth Dietz, and their four perfect cats: Bandit, Lazlo, Cally and Lucky. LeAnne was a friend to various animal welfare, environmental protection, arts, human rights, and health care organizations. Her Alma Maters were The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and the Soma Institute of Chicago.

She was a massage therapist, teacher, artist, writer, vegetarian and marathon runner. LeAnne was a Cleveland Indians fan, she enjoyed kayaking, traveling, yoga and above all spending time with her family. Memorial donations can be made to Newport Wilderness Society, Ellison Bay, WI.
