Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and babysitter. Leila Yvonne “Liz” Bedillion White, 91, left this world to be with her Lord, surrounded by family and loved ones, in her home, December 13, 2018. She was born March 28, 1927 in Hickory, a daughter of John Dewey, and Leila Sarah (Betz) Redinger Bedillion, the third of six children.

She was an avid golfer and bowler. She enjoyed many hobbies including jig saw puzzles, baking cookies and making candy. Her favorite of which was quilting with her mother.
The two ladies made many beautiful handmade quilts over the years. Mrs. White also enjoyed babysitting for local families. She babysat more than fifteen children while they were going through elementary school, as their parents were working.
She grew to love and care for all the children as if they were her own, and always enjoyed seeing them as they grew up. Mrs. White was also preceded in death by brothers, John (Surviving wife Ruth) Bedillion, Ronald (Skip) Bedillion, and Gary (Jean) Bedillion. Liz knew how to live life well and wouldn’t want us to mourn for her but to celebrate this next phase of her journey as a victory over the death of this world, as promised to her by her Lord and Savior.
