Leiver was born in Vera Cruz, Mexico on September 13, 1988 to Armondo and Josefine Lopez Sosa. A local resident over 12 years, Leiver was employed as an automotive cleaner and was very interested in cars.

He was a member of the Reborn Christian Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Survivors include his brother Hiram Sosa of Poughkeepsie, NY as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
