Mrs. Lemmer Tuttle Brown, 93, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019. She was born September 14, 1925 in Stokes County to the late William Earnest Tuttle and Berlie Briggs Tuttle. Mrs. Brown was a longtime member of Northwoods Baptist Church, where she was a proud member of the church choir.

She enjoyed canning, gardening, and cooking. In addition to her parents, Lemmer is preceded in death by her son, Carl Brown. She is survived by her son, Harvey (Linda); daughter-in-law, Helen; four grandchildren: Alton, Kevin, Jennifer, and Daniel; and four great-grandchildren: Grayson, Mary Margaret, Jason, and Kayla.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, May 2 at Northwoods Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northwoods Baptist Church, 5204 Old Walkertown Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. Online condolences may be made at www.
