OBITUARY Lena H. Holloway August 6, 1925 – December 15, 2018 On December 15, 2018 Lena Holloway (nee Harding), beloved wife of the late Sam Holloway; devoted mother of Gary Holloway; loving sister of Mary Agnes Galbreath, Winifred Harding, the late Lucille Derkman, Doris Crossland, the late Bill Harding, and the late Edward Harding; caring aunt of her nieces and nephews. A Sarasota resident, Lena was born August 6, 1925, in Mt. Dora, Florida, and was a graduate of Mt.

Dora High School, Class of 1943 and Florida State College for Women (FSU) in Tallahassee in 1947. She taught elementary and high school in Avon Park, Orlando, St. Petersburg and concluded her career as a substitute teacher at Southeast High School in Bradenton. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 12 pm until the time of service at 1 pm at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave.
