Lena M Kilmartin, 86, of Torrington, passed away at home Saturday, February 23rd, in the arms of her children. She was the wife of the late William Kilmartin. She was a loving and caring woman and her kindness for others and fierce love of family will be missed Lena was born in Torrington, CT on November 19, 1932, a daughter of the late Amelia and Giuseppe Tuozzo, and was employed by The Torrington Company until her retirement.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Williams and husband Thomas, and Lisa Kilmartin, sons William J. Kilmartin and Patrick H. Kilmartin and wife Tracy, all of Torrington. Lena was the loving grandmother of Kristine Newell, Kimberly Knox, Morgan Kilmartin and Patrick J. Kilmartin, and was dealy loved by her 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Enes Carcano.

The family wishes to thank Dr Gomez and the Staff of Smilo Cancer Center and Foothills VNS for their care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 27th at Saint Peter Church in Torrington, with burial following at Saint Peter Cemetery. Friends may call 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 27th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington.
