Lenora “Dixie” Klein peacefully passed away the morning of May 24th. She joins her Father in Heaven and her beloved husband, Fred Klein, of 54 years who passed in 1999. Dixie leaves behind her sister Alice Ann, and her sons, John Klein of Nevada City and Howard Klein of Auburn and their wives Karen and Denise whom she loved.

She will also be missed by her 11 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Fred and Dixie moved with their two sons to Auburn in 1961. She served throughout her life in various callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She worked for 20 years at the Placer County Office of Education as one of their first computer programmers and operators. Dixie enjoyed nature, camping, and gardening, especially her beautiful pink roses. Her life will be celebrated on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (287 Poet Smith Dr., Auburn, CA), with a viewing held from 9:00 – 9:45AM.

Interment at New Auburn Cemetery. PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (916-725-2109), directors.
