Obituary for Leo F. Hughes III Leo F. Hughes III, 82, of Ewing passed away Wednesday, May 23 peacefully, surrounded by family. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. Leo was Vice President of Operations at National Waste Disposal and Manager at The Stony Brook Golf course in Hopewell until his retirement, where he devoted the rest of his life to his family.

Son of the late Dorothy A. (Welsh) and Leo F. Hughes II, Father of the late Leo F. Hughes IV, and brother to the late Judith Hughes Bell, he is survived by his 3 daughters, Kate Hughes, Jennifer L. Hughes, Maura Hughes McNamara and husband William; his granddaughter, Marley Theresa McNamara; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth and Ronald West, and longtime friend, Eileen Lake Mountford. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:30am until 12 noon at the Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Ave. , Ewing.
