Leola Edna Lawrence, 98, of Weatherford passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, April 17, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born December 16, 1919 in Palo Pinto County to James Edward Lawrence and Lee Bell Forson Lawrence. She had one sister Alma Faye Lawrence.

Leola and her sister were both baptized July 18, 1956 at First Christian Church, Ranger, Texas. They moved their membership to Central Christian Church in Weatherford on May 31, 1970. They were transferred to Weatherford and built their house in 1960. A graveside service will be at 10 am, Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Blue Flat Cemetery in Gordon. A visitation is scheduled for 5-7 pm, Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
