Leola G. Deweese, 89, of Seymour, IN died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Seymour Crossing Nursing Home. She was from Glasgow, Kentucky and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Knob Lick, Kentucky. She had been a seamstress at Handmacher in Glasgow and a bookkeeper and receptionist for Allied Sporting Goods in Louisville.

Survivors include a son, Gary Deweese (Debbie) of Glasgow; a daughter, Kaye Thompson of Seymour, Indiana; a brother, Merle Huffman (Imogene) of Knob Lick, Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Ruth Huffman of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Lee Deweese; a son-in-law Jim Thompson of Seymour, IN; a brother, Terry W Huffman, Jr. of Glasgow; and two sisters, Maureen Deweese (Roscoe) and Lorraine (Angelo) Giangrosso both of Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, February 14th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery.
