Leola Lain, March 16, 1914 — May 06, 2019

Leola Evelyn Lain, 105 of Mystic, passed away May 6, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. Leola was born the daughter of Wayne Van & Fay Lora (Young) Wright on March 16, 1914 in the Brushy neighborhood and lived her entire life on a family farm near Mystic. She graduated from Centerville High School and taught school for a few years before being united in marriage to George Lain on March 11, 1933 in Unionville, Missouri.

To this union two sons were born: Dean Wayne and Keith George. Leola was a member of the North Bend Christian Church until its closing then attended Plano Christian Church. Leola loved to garden, especially flowers.

She made quilts for all children, grandchildren and crocheted last names for many friends and family. She spent many hours playing the organ to entertain herself. Leola loved the show her grandchildren how to catch big fish.

Leola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George in 1996, twin sisters: Lavon Wilma Blozovich in 2017 (and her husband Rudy in 2015), Veon Wilda Wright in 1920. Leola is survived by sons: Dean Lain (Reva), Keith Lain (Lorena), grandchildren: Terry Lain (Jean), Gary Lain (Missy), Lisa Moore (Brian), D.W. Lain (Jana), Douglas Lain (Krisi), great grandchildren: Justin Lain (Jenna), Tyler Lain (Kate), Kenton Lain (Erica), Ashley Schoolcraft (Justin), Hannah Kelly (Tanner), Dillon Lain (fiancé Dally), Trent Moore, Blake Moore, Linsey Anderson (Cory), Lauren Lain, Tierney Lain, Kayley Lain, Brady Lain, Mackinley Lain, Zoe Lain, Tyler Bates, Riley Bates, Shawn Gordon, great great grandchildren: Miles Anderson, Kambrie Schoolcraft, Tucker Lain, Brantley Lain, Karsyn Lain, niece, Diane Butler and nephew, Tom Blozovich. Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, May 17, 2019 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with Rev.

Dennis Higgins officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10-11 am. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery at a later date.
