OBITUARY Leon C Lacamu August 29, 1941 – January 22, 2019 Leon C. Lacamu, 77, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He was born on August 29, 1941 in Hempstead, Texas to Louis and Willene Connor Lacamu. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

Leon is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years of marriage, Sharon Lacamu; his children, John (Tiger) Lacamu and his wife Dori, Chris Lacamu and his wife Jill and Michelle Seitzinger and her husband Kyle; his grandchildren, Alex Lacamu and his wife Rebecca, Matthew Lacamu, Jeremy Lacamu, Jacob Lacamu, Madeline Lacamu, Christina Lacamu, Shelby Seitzinger, Jackson Seitzinger; great grandchildren, Addyson Castorena and Amelia Lacamu; his brother-in law, Skip Grew and sister-in-law, LeNel Matlock. Leon retired from the City of Houston after of 35 years of service. He was known to enjoy spending time fishing and an avid Houston Astro’s fan, but most of all he loved his family dearly.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 12-2PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with services beginning at 2:00 PM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Houston Humane Society.
