Mr. Maddox was a native of Calera and a retired employee of the State of Alabama. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, in Columbiana, where he sang in the choir. He leaves to cherish his loving memory a daughter: Sabrena Maddox; two brothers: Leon (JoAnna) Maddox and Cedric (Carolyn) Maddox; three sisters: Doris Cunningham, Dorothy (Clarence) Harris and Martha (Bill) Brantley; three brothers: Willie (Kose) Lee, Leroy Maddox and Edward (Iris) Maddox; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

Service of memory will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church in Columbiana (208 Depot Street 35061) with burial in Pine Lawn Cemetery in Columbiana, AL. He will lie in repose on Friday from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Westside Funeral Home in Calera.
