OBITUARY Leona Virginia Goodson April 18, 1921 – October 7, 2018 Leona Virginia Goodson, of Smithville, MO, passed away October, 7, 2018. She was born April 18, 1921 in Texarkana, Texas, Travis County. Leona was adopted when she was two weeks old to Beatrice Virginia Francis and James Leon Francis.

She was married to Paul Orn Goodson in Junction City, Kansas on July 5, 1936. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Orn Goodson and one daughter Willama Jean. She has one son, Paul Leon Goodson, three granddaughters, Kimberly Koelzer, Rulo, NE; Kelly Magrassus, Kansas City, MO; Kristie Hopkins, Leavenworth, KS; eight great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.

Family will receive visitors on October 11, 2018 starting at 11:00 am, with funeral service at 12:00 pm both at Paradise Baptist Church, Smithville, MO. Burial the same day at 2:00 pm at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paradise Baptist Church.
