Leonard’s Obituary Leonard Edelman, beloved and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle passed on 12/30/2018. Len loved learning and was an avid reader, humorist, and storyteller. He cared deeply about his family, education, human rights, and the environment.

He enjoyed music, science fiction, movies, conversation, art, and food. As an educator, Len communicated his love of science to students with enthusiasm and humor. A life-long student himself, he maintained a sense of constant curiosity and always encouraged those around him to do the same.

His passion has inspired countless others to carry on his legacy of truth, love, and curiosity. He will be missed by his wife Peggy Read; children Raina Roy, Jesse Edelman, Tyler Edelman, Connor Edelman and Julie Wells; sister Roni Schoenfeld; 5 grandchildren, 3 nephews, and a niece. A family memorial will be at future date.
