Leonard’s Obituary Leonard Rosenberg, 79, passed away February 4, 2019. He was a resident of Bowie, MD for over 56 years. Len was a graduate of Temple University’s School of Pharmacy practicing at Drug Fair in Crofton, Safeway of Bowie and most proudly, to have retired from Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

He was a former member of the Cheverly Rotary Club and the Bowie Senior Corale. He gave up singing for his dancing shoes to show off his moves at the weekly dances at both the Davidson Dance Club and the Goddard Dance Club. Mr. Rosenberg is survived by his wife of 57 years Elaine Rosenberg, daughter Barrie Davis (Brad) of Jarrettsville, MD, daughter Stacy Chanski (Ron) of Wildwood, MO.

He was brother to Dr. Bruce Rosenberg (deceased) and Dr. Shirley Schantz of The Villages, FL and cousin Dr. Joel Lang of Cheverly, MD. His favorite thing of all was being Pop to his grandchildren Matthew, Zachary (deceased), Mariel and Natalie Davis, Derek and Allie Chanski. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 2pm to 3pm at the Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Hwy (Rte 3 South), Bowie, MD, followed by a memorial service at 3pm.

Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Foundation in memory of his brother.
