Leonard Ross Hair October 20, 1937 – January 17, 2019 Sign Guestbook Leonard Ross Hair, age 81 of Howell, passed away early Thursday morning, January 17, 2019. Born in Detroit on October 20, 1937, he was the son of the late Burchard R. and the late Marguerite (Leonard) Hair. Leonard, who has been a lifelong area resident, was a 1956 graduate of Howell High School.

He was a retired bus garage assistant for the Howell Public Schools, loved camping with his fifth wheel and participated in his neighborhood watch. Beloved husband of his high school sweetheart, Glenda (Nations) Hair, whom he married in Howell on September 8, 1956. Loving father of Ross Hair of Howell and Mary Johnson of Howell.

Proud grandfather of Sandra Johnson, the late Andrew Johnson and great-grandchildren, Lilly, Bronson, Anakin and Jackson. A funeral service in honor and celebration of Leonard’s life will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. (visitation beginning 11:00 a.m.) at MacDonald’s Funeral Home, Howell (517-546-2800). Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Howell.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Livingston County.
