(Lee) Bodien succumbed to her illness at 1:37am. Her husband Lawrence Bodien was at her side and held her hand “ ’Til her heart of gold stopped beating”. , “This Ain’t Nothin” Craig Morgan.

Lee was active in the community and was loved by many. She was a Dynamo, always being active and enjoyed being social, doing activities such as Golf, Bingo, playing cards and Bowling. Her passing leaves a tremendous hole in the hearts of many.

Born on February 10, 1950 in Pangasinan, Philippines Lee began her life’s adventures. In 1977 she married an American Serviceman named Jim Bogardus and moved to the US. She is survived by her two sons, James Bogardus; wife Jessica and grandchildren, Madison, JadeAhn, Jesslynn and Jameson and Alan Ardin, wife Nataliya and granddaughter Alexis and nieces and nephews Ted Jimenez, Kathleen Whitney, Kevin Buzard Jr. and Veronica Maestas who she always treated like they were her own.

She met Lawrence Bodien on October 26, 1992 and they married 15 days later on Nov 12, 1992 the love of her life. When asked why so quick she said “ When you know, you know”. 26 years strong their marriage was a beautiful sight to behold and Larry often says he would be a hermit living in the hills without her.
