Leonel C. Guajardo 1928 – 2018 Leonel C. Guajardo, 90, of Rosharon passed away on December 4, 2018 with his family by his side. Leonel was born on May 9, 1928 in Alamo, Texas to Alfredo and Maria (Santos Cantu) Guajardo. Dad enjoyed working on the farm with his horses and cattle; while Mom enjoyed cooking and baking delicious sweets, and crocheting.

They were married for fifty seven years. Leonel was preceded in death by his wife, Sabina. Left to treasure a multitude of memories are his children: Alfred Guajardo, Richard Guajardo, Bertha Shipp, Mary Ann Rivera, Melinda Guajardo-Hicks, Leo Guajardo, Davy Guajardo, and Mary Lou Clark; brother and sisters: Ruben Guajardo, Ava Banda and Flora DeLong; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Oak Park Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Stark officiating. Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery.
