Leslie Ann (Clark) Bielawski , 42, of Algoma. Passed away November 3, 2018, with her family at her side at the Algoma Long Term Care. Leslie was diagnosed in December of 2013 with Colon Cancer, after a brief remission she was then diagnosed with Lung/Colon Cancer in July of 2017.
Leslie was born October 25, 1976 to Bruce and Suzanne (LaCrosse) Clark in Algoma. In her younger years Leslie played volleyball and softball in high school. Leslie graduated from Algoma High School in 1995.
She played… Read More » recreational softball after graduation and played volleyball with her then to be husband Eric, and women’s pool league. On October 8, 2004 she married the love of her life, Eric Bielawski at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Algoma. Leslie worked several jobs in the Algoma-Sturgeon Bay area until finding her home at East Shore Industries where she worked as a Production Assistant and Bus Driver.
Leslie is survived by her husband; Eric, sons; Gavin (13), Declan (11) and Kaden (9). She is also survived by her Parents; Bruce and Suzanne Clark, maternal grandfather Norbert LaCrosse (Shirley), paternal grandmother Delores Clark, sister Melissa (Brian) Berg and their children, Nathaniel and Dakota, sister Gail (Larry) Mahnke and their children Presten and Jay. She is also survived by her mother and father in law, Rick and Kim Longseth, brother in law Collin Longseth, Grandfather in law Richard Schallock and grandparents in law Diane and Marvin Longseth, as well as many aunts and uncles and cousins.
Leslie is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Marie LaCrosse, paternal grandfather Henry Clark, uncle Johnny LaCrosse, uncle Ken Herlache, uncle Dick Zimmerman and cousin Dean Herlache. Special thank you to the Unity Hospice staff for their constant support and care. Ginger Bouche and Jill Kostichka for days and weeks spent helping Leslie and the family.
Also, a thank you to everyone who sat with, drove to Chemo or doctor visits, delivered meals, sent cards and prayed for Leslie and her family. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday November 15th from 4 PM – 8PM with a prayer service at 7PM at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME in Algoma. Visitation will continue Friday, November 16th, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rankin, from 9 AM until the time of services at 11 AM with Rev.
Dr. Christopher Jackson officiating. Even at the end, Leslie was still a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt,, and friend. She will be missed by all.
