Leslie Anne ton, 63, of Charlotte, died May 2, 2019, at her home while under the care of hospice. Leslie was born in Delaware on October 9, 1955, the daughter of Thomas Francis and Beverly Hale ton, Sr She lived there until the age of 13, when her family came to Charlotte.

She attended and graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School and went on to work as a legal secretary. When not working, she enjoyed reading, the “Outlander” television series, baseball (especially the Atlanta Braves), and tending to her garden. In 1995, she met Frank Santen, and they have been together since.

Leslie is survived by her partner in life, Frank Santen, whom she met in 1995 and had been with since; her three children: Tim Carrigan of Phoenix, AZ, Kelly Carrigan of Cary, NC, and Donovan ton of Charlotte; a grandchild, Sawyer Davis of Raleigh, NC; a brother, Tom ton Jr. (wife Eileen) of Harrisburg, NC; a sister, Joanne Walker of Newark, DE; and a niece, Kelsey ton of Knoxville, TN. Leslie is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends and was preceded in death by her parents. Leslie’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for her and for them.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at the funeral home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 pm. In honor of her battle with cancer, the family respectfully requests memorials in Leslie’s name be made to the Carolina Panthers Keep Pounding Fund.
