OBITUARY Leslie F. Bonnet May 22, 1920 – December 6, 2018 Leslie, 98, passed away December 6th, 2018 after an extended illness. She was the daughter of Paul Roger and Helen Loretta (Rump) Chamberlain born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 22, 1920. Leslie graduated from Central High School with the Class of 1939.

After graduation, she worked at Wayne Knitting Mills and was soon married to Ellsworth (Web) Weber. In 1942, together, they moved to California and made their home in Fresno, California where they lived until Web’s death in 1959. After months considering her next move Leslie decided to stay in Fresno where she met Donald Bonnet.

Donald and Leslie married in 1961 and spent a wonderful 57 years together. Leslie’s constant smile will be missed. She was blessed with beauty, charm, and was kind to everyone she met, especially her only surviving sibling Doris Jean, who she was proud to have named.

Doris Jean Hoffman lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Leslie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bonnet, parents, and two brothers, Paul Roger Chamberlain Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sargent Chamberlain of Marysville, Ohio. In addition to her sister Doris, Leslie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
