Leslie Shannon Thomaston, age 79, a native and long time resident of Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Katy, Texas for the past 10 years, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019. She was the second born of three children. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, who loved the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Clayton and Gertrude Howell. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold E. Thomaston, 4 children, Lisa (John) Ros, Traci (Gil) Harris, Clay Thomaston, Mark (Susan) Thomaston, 1 brother, William (Margie) Howell, 1 sister, Phyllis Sumlin, 13 grandchildren, Shane Ros, Kellie Ros, Gabe Harris, Ashley (Caleb) Pruitt, Matthew (Catherine) Harris, Isaac (Rachel) Harris, Katie (Nicolas) Orleans, Camryn Thomaston, Parker (Becky) Thomaston, Drew (Adrienne) Thomaston, Morgan Thomaston, Dalton Thomaston, Easton Thomaston, 10 great-grandchildren, Madison Pruitt, Emily Harris, Matthew Orleans, Eli Thomaston, Eber Thomaston, Ezekiel Thomaston, Halynn Thomaston, Henley Thomaston, Hendrix Thomaston, Baylin Courtney, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral and burial service will be held at the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home in Mobile, Alabama on Monday, January 28th, 2019 at 12 noon.
